Double din unit

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

As you may know my missus just bought a fabia vrs and I am just trying to get it the way she wants it ..... :'( hopefully for my sake thats soon. But you may see me on here a fair bit in the next while.

Anyways in the car she bought there is a skoda mfd satnav( same as this )Pic

Hopefully that link works

Well she does not like it surprise surprise so its coming out!!

Questions: Will a standard double din fit in its place easily?

Will a single din fit in with one of these easily Clicky

Would the one I take out be something I could sell on here and what money do they go for?

Also any ideas on what to replace it with would be appreciated, she wants something with bluetooth hands free.

Many thanks

Brian

Well I'm looking for a double din stereo. And I have an alpine ida x001. And an willing to do a swap for the pocket and stereo if your interested???

If that Skoda satnav system came as standard in the car you probably have the Maxi-dot display on the dash as well(it shows radio station name etc between revs and speedo) I am not sure but I dont know if replacing the Skoda radio will stop this function from working. I am sure someone who knows will confirm this or not.

No I dont have that maxi-dot, the previous owner must have installed this unit.
