7 nights in PRAGUE September 2012 (official thread)

Featured Replies

I'm giving this alot of thought, I've provisionally booked the time off work so atleast that wont cause an issue. I also would be interested in seeing the ring again this year.

Bump (from Will) Jason have you got details when the ring is open as I really wanted to do it as it was my birthday prezzy

So is there no other "2" or even a "1+1" that wants to share a family room setup? :)

Possibly Jason, I've not been well so not had chance to look properly into this, I won't be staying the full time (thinking of leaving on the tues or weds) but might be cheaper to pay the full lot with the sharing rather than the shorter time in more expensive room! I will let you know :)

Also, my +1 isn't a secret, it's my bf David. Any further info can be gleaned from fb pics if necessary ;) haha!

I just didn't list him as it might make people think they were meant to know who he was! :)

It might still work out cheaper even if my mate and I pay more overall. :)

What the flip is going on with the hotel website? I can't get on it! Lol!

Once I can actually find out the prices and compare etc I will let you know. and true Jason, it might work out better for all of us if we just do the share, it would still be a lot cheaper for you I imagine. Did you say it works out at 13 euros a night?! that's mad.... almost worrying haha!!

and O M G the fuchsia has gone from the colour choices!! :o shocker! lol

It might be 15 euros a night (59 euros per night for the 4 sleeping rooms), but then also 10% discount for booking more than 3 days (or something like that) so potentially about 53 euros per night, split 4 ways. With the Euro:£ at 1.20 at the moment, it stands to be good value for money.

Hotel Website loads with no problems for me

Yes, website now loading, it must have been having issues earlier!! When is the 10% discount added, because it hasn't put it on the subtotal that it's coming up wqith when I have checked....

Jason, I'll PM you!

I've not tried booking online yet, just looked at available dates and prices.

Ah, after experimenting with dates etc, it seems 59 euros is WITH the discount. I can only assume this is because it includes a weekend in the 7 days when the price is a bit higher. I tried doing for just 3 days, and price was 62 euros less 10%, so 55.80.

Still good @ 15 euros per person though I suppose. I'll have to pay about that each day for the secure parking :D

Weird thing with the pricing is I tried doing 3 nights from 13th to 16th - 55 euros a night

and a separate booking for 16th to 20th 4 nights - 57.35 euros a night.

So why when booking 7 days in one go does it go up to 59 euros a night? LOL. Its almost worth us two booking a 4 day session, and you booking a 3 day....

Ok, I have PM'd you prices assuming discount, but I have put the total in. I'm sure you can work it out, you are an accountant afterall! haha!!!

Also, have anyone got space for 2 passengers to go to the Skoda factory at all? We will donate some taxi money for the fuel, it just saves us having to book a hire car and get to pick it up etc ...... :)

I wasn't planning on bringing back seats, but if no one else has room, i could do. Long way off yet though.

Oh, that would be cool, will see who ends up coming etc then!

I'm assuming there is no breakfast included, are we able to buy it? Is it expensive? lol

Pretty sure breakfast is included in the price - probably a Continental one like the 2007 trip.

Pricing oddity - 59.50 euros a night for 7 nights in a row. So you save 4 euros a night on the first 3 days and 2 euros a night on the final 4 days. :D

3 nights (55.80 a night)

4 nights, booked after the 3 nights.... (57.35 a night)

Breakfast included? For that price? We'd better take some diarrhoea tablets! hehehehe!

I like cz breakfasts. cheese and ham butty?? :D

don't worry will, I'll book it! I have collected money from one out of 3 of my passengers! lol.. and I have done 40 hours overime this month !, I will book, when I get paid on the 27th march (assuming I have collected the other moneys ;) )

we will be there

Loz and I are on the case. :) I have a +1 and so does she. Just a case of working out days as she's not staying the whole time. Shouldn't be a bother though.

Yeah, I'm pretty much ready to book whenever :) just need to decide who is booking and who is transferring money! lol. I'm pretty sure I'm doing 5 nights, will check with the bf then I'm ready and just need to book flights!

Is it true what I heard on Top Gear, you need to carry a breathe test kit for driving in europe?

I have seen that somewhere too, so yes I think so. Two apparently, you have to be able to use one and still have a spare.

It's just France that are introducing this ridiculous law, from the of 1st July you'll have to have one in your glovebox or face a ten quid fine ...... not necessary to have two though, I just bought myself one of these from eBay.

Loz im heading up on my own so i have a free car haha so your welcome to it will save me dolla!
