Is the gearbox code that for a vRS (I can't remember what the code should be but do know that the casing on the top of the box should have a criss-cross pattern), what mileage does it have and can you say there is no synchro wear?

Finally, bootlid, any paint bubbling/deterioration around the number plate?

hi leeboy, no bonnet am afraid,

gearbox is ehj, its def a vrs box, and had no wear or issues before, bootlid has no rust or bubbling, i will check for you again at the weekend:>

Thanks for info, I see that car had done about 100k, but what age was it, and do you (or anyone else for that matter) know if a octavia bootlid will fit inside the same car for transport - I have roof bars, but glass could be vulnerable!

it was a y plate car, it got written off but was fully working prior to being broken, i nearly repaired it, but resale wouldnt have been enought to cover costs, thats the only reason i broke it.

Yes it will fit iirc, rotate the tailgate 90degrees, with the parcel shelf removed, and seats folded flat, otherwise will go on the roofrack, the glass is tough as long as you dont rest it on the bars you will be fine.

Are you local lee? were you thinking of coming over this weekend?

Thanks for info, will think about this, but do fancy the tailgate at any rate. Am in Hampshire, so not local (where in Kent are you). Would need to be next weekend at earliest, if you sell before then so be it. Will get back in touch!

hi ,do you have the heater vent's i need all three.

i think i have the 2 sides, but the centre one is provisionally sold, will keep you updated on that one incase it doesnt sell.
