  • Well if you had bothered to read....and understand the previuos posts by me and others....and look into it........you would realise that they HAVE a racing heritage....!!!! SO STOP TROLLING!!!!!!!!!!

  • So lets get this right, you've linked to a 12 year old Nissan that cost 55k and is now selling for £21k. A loss of 34k in 12 years. And your comparing that to an Audi RS6 Avant which is nearly 4 yea

Im not going to say anyting els on the matter of this now lol its getting tedius.. The audi A1 Quatro will still be worth 25k in 5 years and the GTR not so much lol.. There is a reason for that..

Err.. you do know Nissan are also known as another brand... Infiniti. Who happen to sponsor and work with Red Bull.

I'm thinking you may have heard of Red Bull in F1?

Fail. :giggle:

You are wrong.

A 10 year old Nissan Skyline GT-R selling for £55k in 2000 will still cost you £20k 12 years later...

Give it up.

This! Mentioned this too. Honda for example pulled out of F1 just to put resources into hybrids and hydrogen powered vehicles. I looked at R34 Skylines and it's amazing how well they've held vale especially UK ones.

and I'd still have a GTR over an A1 any day

So what you are saying is red bull F1 cars are infinities? or just working with red bull lol? because i bet i know the answer they aint big enough or good enough to own there own brand. and as for a £20k 12 year old GTR i prsume your referring to the R34 which yes dont get me wrong the car is an awsome car and the reason for its value..... You will find its this car that dominated those GT races you posted up earlier nissan were in there prime with that car they led the way on most GT races and offroad hill climb rallies, hence the R34's status to car enthusiasts... But unfortunatly that was a long time ago they havn't brought another car like that out in a long time which is why you can by a 5 year old GTR cheaper then the 12 year old GTR-R34 because of its legacy.. my argument is nissan are not what they used to be and comparing them to VAG is rediculas when talking about motorsport.. 10 years ago yes but today? pffft :giggle:

You can buy a 5 year old GT-R cheaper than a 12 year old one?

In the UK?

Wow, I didn't know that.

Please find me a link to a 5 year old GT-R on sale in the UK... because they didn't start selling them here until 2009!

And the cheapest 2009 ones are still going for over £35k, despite only costing about £53k new.

How can you keep posting when you don't have the facts to back up what you are saying?

Back on topic.....

If I had a lotto win under my belt I would probably buy the A1Q and change the wheels as I'm not a fan of them.

For hard earnt money.........nah I couldn't justify it

 don't be silly. Trolls don't use facts to back up an argument they just make things up as they go along

VW/Skoda have F1 links are are thinking about supplying engines to a team and all Infiniti are doing is supplying and developing technology. This is one way into the sport and then could start a team. If I remember rightly VW still have the rights to Prost F1 which means provided they have a car they could race. Who knows we may see Nissan in F1 at some point. They are already doing well in 24h races at different class levels. Also don't forget that F1 is NOT the only race series out there.

GTRs especially UK ones are holding value well and unless you've driven or even been in one you have no place to slag them off. They are epic!

I see i thought they had been out longer then that lol (shows how much interest in jap cars i have) having lost £18k in 3 years do you think it will be worth more then this 12 year old R34? in another 2 years time? http://pistonheads.c...les/3465530.htm

Or better still http://pistonheads.com/sales/3591037.htm why is the audi still worth more? and its a year older??

Are we done yet?

Back on topic, I would have the A1 Quattro if money was no object as its a throw back to similar nutty Quattro's of thee 80's and 90's.

My parents used to own an Audi 80 Quattro Sport, was lovely, infact I have been looking for a nice one recently B)

I'll remind you of an old post of mine on this very thread. (which you repsonded to and so did read).

This is not a "Nissan are great" thread or anything of the sort. I think Nissan are average in general and other then the GT-R I'd not touch any of their cars.

This is why I own a number of Skodas, it's because I like them. They are currently my favorite car maker. We somehow got onto the topic of the GT-R and a poster above criticised it with generic Japansese car company comments which don't apply to it. Which I was pointing out.

BTW, yes I am in the GTROC too. :D

You'd be silly to run a car like that and not use the forum and owners club. Still own three Skodas though.

Lmao well that explains a lot then

And your comparing that to an Audi RS6 Avant which is nearly 4 years old that cost 77k+options and is now selling for 42k. A loss of 35k (+ options) in 4 years.

So the Audi has lost more money in a third of the time. And that shows how bad the Nissan is yes?

Words fail me...

Seriously, give it up!

This thread is way off topic and you are talking a load of brown stuff.

I wish you Datsun fans would wind your necks in and stop trying to convince others that what YOU like should suit others with their own clear opinions.

You can post as much crap on here about just how much you wet your pants about a certain cheap 'supercar' and bang on about how much you'll be trading the whole Skoda idea in for one.

Must be a great topic of conversation with your mates. "Oh, I'll be trading the Skoda in soon for a GTR" :giggle::D Laughable !!!! :D

Oh, and by the way, trolling ???? Better than being an arrogant *****. :finger:

Here's a link for all you dreamers - http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/

I'm sure they'll appreciate the garbage that some of you have spewed out.

Datsun. A future classic.

Oh dear, someone doesn't like it when what they posted is disproved.

Take the time to reread the posts in this thread, I think you'll find there was no convincing, it was mainly just showing that your broadly sterotypical view with regard to a certain car/maker is incorrect.

I have no problem with you having your own opinion, only when you post completely incorrect info about a company and car you obviosuly know nothing about, a car I happen to quite like.
