VRS Headlight Washers

Featured Replies

My passenger side headlight washer started making quite a messy spray pattern this week, ejaculates all over the bonnet and wing as opposed to the headlight itself.

On further inspection (mate pulling the stork whilst I eyeball the washer) there appears to be a nozzle missing from one of the jets.

How accessible are the headlight washers for maintenance? On the basis they're hidden in the bumper until you need them :wonder:

Just pull them up, slowly and gently by hand. Don't force it. Should be enough to see the nozzle situation. Might be that one of them is just gunged up with residue?

Are you saying I can pull them out from the bumper by hand?

There did appear to be a part missing as opposed to gunged up.

Yes, just be gentle.

Right, I've found the problem after carefully pulling out the mechanism.

There is a small ball missing from the end of one of the spray the storks, I'm guessing they pop out under pressure.

I bet this means I'll have to buy a new whole new washer jet rather than replacing the individual part!

Known Skoda you will need to buy a whole new bumper :wonder:

Thanks, also found the part here.

Skoda Parts

I used Skodaparts recently for service parts, filters etc.

Shame you have to buy the whole bloody thing
