Braking test 70-0mph.

Featured Replies

Got my data logging Video Vbox today, so I've run a few tests.

Results (and acceleration) are on my car thread here: http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/202729-richards-09-mki-vrs-se/page__st__280__gopid__2689537#entry2689537

But of particular note was the braking, which seemed very good.

I'm running Brembo front brakes, larger rear discs with standard callipers and grippy tyres.

I did three runs from 70mph to a dead stop.

Results were all within 0.3 seconds and 2m.

The best (2nd best was 0.01 seconds slower) was a time of 3.32 seconds covering a distance of only 50.81 metres! :o

Sounds very impressive. What does the gtr do it in?

Now there's a question! Have you got it back from the dealer yet Richard?

No, they are looking for a tyre valve.

Hopefully today... in which case I know what I'll be doing at the weekend. ;)

It's a known issue on 2/3 year old ones. But they don't keep any valves in stock. :dull:
