Another lighting question. Sorry.

Mine is a 58 plate Roomster 2. 1.4tdi with the old type projector headlamps with H7 bulbs. Is this the hi/lo system as there only appears to be one single filament bulb in the headlamp? The headlamps are really poor. I tried some "brighter" bulbs the other day. A total waste of money, there's no difference. So I'm now seriously thinking of fitting a hid kit. I assume I have to get a specific canbus hi/lo kit. Can anyone confirm that please? There are some listed on ebay for approx 50 quid. I fitted some on a Citroen Xm I used to own. These were also notorious for poor headlamps. The lighting was totally transformed and very impressive. And although room was tight and they were fiddly to fit, the end result was worth it.
