Sounds good, picking up new car on Saturday so this will be fully valeted and parked up on the drive ready for its new owner.

nice car and nice price, but that alloy looks a ticking time bomb

It is only paint damage, picture makes it look worse than it is!

If the car doesn't sell before I get my new car I will take it off and get it refurbed!

Whats the price?

Cant see it listed anywhere? Someone at work is interested in a standard car i'll direct them your way (but you might be a bit far for them to consider).

It's at the top.. £5495 :)

New car collected so this is ready to go, and needs to go!

As susspected its a bit too far to travel but he is still thinking about it.

Might be worth mentioning that it has and dual climate and parking sensors are an optional extra that most people want

Oh man, I could well be interested in this but I'm all the way up in Newcastle....that journey is just too ridiculous to consider :(

Do you ever come any further up north?

Hi, I do go to Manchester occasionally and also going to Norfolk this weekend. However car is now not insured as got my new car so I would be unable to bring the car up plus I would then be left without a car to get home in! It is well worth the travel down, it is only a train ride away. I am more than willing to come collect you from Bournemouth train station and would put a tank of fuel in to get you home again.

Hi Paul,

I'm afraid it is miles from Newcastle to you neck of the woods, probably 5-6 hours on trains and then a 7-8 hour drive back. I'm afraid that it's just too much for me and as a self employed person, it's also a loss of a days work.

BTW if you ever need to isure a car for a day, try this http://www.aviva.co.uk/short-term-car-insurance/ only £18 the last time I used it.

Cheers

Ron

Hi Paul

To what value do you consider a cheap PX?

What have you got? Send me some details and the offer your looking at and I will let you know.

Can't believe you haven't sold this yet. Another guy on this forum has just bought one for over £7000, granted it had 20000 less miles but.....

Good luck with your sale, don't give it away. The wheel and bodywork scuff will only cost someone 200 to 300 quid to put right.

I am shocked to be honest! Perhaps it is location that is putting people off to travel to the south coast.

If it stays for much longer will get the wheel and bumper done then put it back up to £5.7k

When I bought mine 2 1/2 years ago I travelled from newcastle to Glasgow to get it. I'm trading mine in next month and am getting £6000 for it - 56 plate petrol vrs estate with 60000 miles. So I'd say yours is an absolute bargain, the rest of the car looks tidy and you've kept up with the maintenance.
