Skoda Felicia 2.8 VR6 200 Bhp on Ebay

Featured Replies

There's too much Yellow on the interior.

Sleeper though!

The old Awesome car, it's been at LeCar for years and it pops up on eBay every now and again and someone posts a thread.

If I had money to burn I'd buy it, just to take to shows :)

how much is a 200bhp felicia worth as a matter of idle interest?

that car keeps re surfacing with a different owner every now and again, and they all claim that they built it too

For the last few years I've seen it advertised its always been at Le Car.

Ten grand is a bit steep but i bet its fun to drive.

Featured in 1999 must mean its been VR6 for about 13 years? :D

I walked past their place in Finchley at Christmas and saw that listed in their front window.

Looks like a proper 'sleeper'. :D Not keen on the colour though.

How much was a Felicia when new in 1999? Was it less than £10k?

The car is actually based on the pre facelift shell, and brand spanking the 1.6SLXi was under £10k I believe. Around £9,500 I think.

And only 13,000 miles on the clock, Le-Car must have got it when quiet new and carried out the work.

Awesome GTi built the car for Skoda UK many moons ago.

It actually visited many dealers when owned by Skoda UK, and I remember it at Barkers when I was having my then current Felly serviced

Personally I'm not that keen on the idea of a vr6 engined felicia, I bet it's a bit of a handful to drive with a big heavy engine stuck out there in the front... My money would go on a 1.8 turbo engine any day.... < ( and it will bolt straight in according to somebody I know :giggle: )

in all seriousness by far the best engine you can transplant into a felicia would be the 1.6 polo gti engine with 125bhp, it's simple, pratical, reliable and will easily do 40mpg all day long plus the handling would be far better balanced with a small capacity 4 pot in there.

Does anybody have a 1.4 tsi engine they want to donate to me? I'd shove it in a felicia in the name of science.

Not £10k which is why its been for sale forever!

It will go like stink but its a bit dated now with all the matching yellow stuff. A nice Golf VR6 of the same age is under £2k....makes the Felicia a touch overpriced me thinks.

It's the history behind the car that makes it special (not saying worth the price), proof that not all at Skoda were so straight laced at one point and let someone make something a little bonkers to generate some publicity.

hi there i see that on ebay too i agree with you tom on the weight off the vr6 engine as i have one sitting in my mother in laws garage i would tsi one or 1.8 turbo a felicia and 10k for a felicia vr6 it would be cheaper to do one your self

I'm not sure between the 1.6GTi Polo and a 1.8T(225), but the VR6 is too much of a boat anchor for anything bar a drag machine.

You'd think by now Le Car would have realised that £10K is too much though!

It's a unique car with a good history, it's worth what someone will pay for it. It probably doesn't worry them at all as to how long they'll have it in stock.

We've got a few cars at work that the boss hasn't tried selling, he's perfectly happy for them to sit there and may tax one for use in the summer. We've had a Felicia for a few years and the furthest that we've driven it in one go has been a 100 yards, it just sits locked up in the showroom.

Where are you and how much is the sticker price!!

It was very likely it was me who valeted said car his royal Fordyness mentions when it was a fresh out of the box brand spanker. Its a bright green LXi base, that hasn't even got a stereo fitted. Less than 200 miles on the clock too. Its so fresh it's almost minty.
