The delivery time will be the same as buying from a dealer as these companies use franchised dealers to supply the cars. The cars are cheaper for two reasons: fleet purchasing power and certainly in the case of Broadspeed, the price offered is for a "pre-registered" vehicle which means you will be the second owner on the registration document although the car itself will be new... it may be worth slightly less when you come to sell it as it will be clear you made a saving at the outset.

Google groups have discussions about both companies. Buying directly from the dealer local to you will always have advantages and with some negotiation you are likely to get a good deal. I got my car for less than the Drivethedeal price :)

8 weeks delivery hmmm! the present wait for 2L TDi's is getting longer. I ordered mid January and I still have no build date! Don't let it put you off though!

One thing to think of is that dealers can get a bit petty when servicing cars that tehy didn't supply, not giving loan cars etc..

I always use those site for price comparisons then goto my friendly dealer who normally beats the price to get the sale, everyone is happy as I have dealt with an actual person and they have sold a car.

It has worked twice on two Octy's.
