Hello!

Thought I'd better join seeing as I have just committed myself to buying my 5th Skoda in a row - this time an Octavia vRS Limited Edition T FSI Hatch. I have previously owned:

Fabia vRS (04)

Roomster (56)

Octavia 4x4 Estate (06)

Octavia 4x4 Estate (57)

I'm very excited about getting another vRS! I should take delivery of it next week. It is being taken up from Dundee to Aberdeen (John Clark) and is production number 246. What's the betting it starts to snow as soon as I trade in my 4x4?

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Basically the car continually tries to phone home and drains the battery, the tailgate control module is acutely sensitive to voltage meaning that if the car has sat for more than a day (sometime less) th

Being a big Skoda fan, I joined Briskoda in 2008, I have always promoted Skodas as my companies first choice engineers car primarily the Superb Estate. And they have always been reliable and capable. We therefore had no worries when one of our employees opted to go fully electric with an Enyaq 85X Sportline contracted via VWFS. Upon delivery it was soon apparent the heater did not work. When I first got me 2017 Superb I connected me iPhone 13 via usb to get CarPlay then I bought this dongle and have been using it ok for a month, I got into the car the other day and CarPlay wouldn’t work I tried unplugging the dongle restarting the car deleting phone and all profiles and removing connections from the phone and car, I’ve sent the dongle back but pay car won’t connect to the phone via car play , the usb cable (that has worked before) charges the phone Can anyone suggest what I c

Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak.
