Mine isn't a DSG as it's the older Tfsi engine.

Thanks Steve, it was definitely worth it, although just got a CEL but I think that is from the rear O2 sensor, nothing that can't be sorted (I hope)!

Ha ha I think I had just been reading about upgrading bottom end internals on another forum, where is my head lol.

I haven't noticed much sound difference running DP and decat, there is a slight bit more noise in the cabin but hardly noticeable.

This is mine with a 3inch BCS turbo back exhaust. It is not noisy when driving until you open the throttle. Then it sounds awesome Cruising speeds it just in the background but not intrusive with no cabin drone. Im 32 and wasnt really into the sound of intakes and dv whooshing away. But I do like the sound of a nice exhaust and engine note :evil:

Quick update, Martin (Gizmo68) ran a full diagnostic with VCDS today and confirmed my suspicion, the fault code relates to the lambda sensor. Spoken to Rob (W8) and he was good as gold, he plans on paying me a visit after Mikko @ Shark has tweaked the map.
