Whiteline ARB Question.

Featured Replies

I am after a whiteline rear ARB, but I have a question hopefully someone can help. As I live in Germany all mods have to be approved by the German equivalent of the MOT (called TÜV). So all parts have to have a TÜV approval certificate. Can someone tell me if the Whiteline ARB has a TÜV certificate in the box or if there is a TÜV logo on the box. (will look like any of these logos http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=tuv+logo&hl=en&sa=G&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&ei=4UFHT5PpHMfC0QXE2cGrCA&ved=0CDgQsAQ&biw=1680&bih=931 )

Cheers

Suggest get in contact with the seller and ask them, just the cost of a phone call to find out.

Thanks for the reply. I have emailed several sellers including Whiteline themselves but no response and the one seller that did reply told me it isnt certified.

I had looked on the whiteline site and seen the logo so I thought best clarification was to ask on here to someone that actually has one so they could tell me.

I'll check the instructions if I can find them later

Well I just got a reply.

Hi, Thank you for your enquiry into a Whiteline Rear Anti Roll Bar. The rear bar for a Skoda Fabia is BWR19z, unfortunately at this time the bar is not TUV approved. And it is the only rear bar available for your car. Very sorry about this, however if you have any other questions or enquires do not hesitate to ask. Kind Regards, Whiteline UK

I guess thats the answer then, I suppose only some of there products are TUV approved hence the logo on there site.

If anyone knows of a different brand of RARB that has approval I would be grateful if you would let me know.

Cheers

There is the Jabba one, but I doubt that's TUV approved either.

Thanks. I mailed them but you were right theres isnt TÜV approved either. Any others that make a rear arb.

Just remove it once a year for your test? Or is it something the police would also check?

That could be done but if its on the car if you have a whack the insurance is invalid.

Now I am confused. Just had an email from a German supplier and they are telling me the Whiteline ARB is TÜV approved.

If someone could check the box and enclosed info and let me know if there is any TÜV certificates or labels I would be very grateful.

Thanks
