Thanks! :) Yes, new wheels, again :p Just "had" to try 10" rear wheels, but it will be a tight fit. Pastie, my wheels have ET45, and if I kan just put them om without rubbing the inside, they will be 9,35mm more out then the mercs. Best case.. But I think it may rub inside... So the wheels will poke. But we will see ;)

What coilovers you got? Not many that go real low :)

Now for this weekend, the car have got some shine :)

Wow. Thats an amazing wagon mate. Front end looks really evil. Cant wait to see how she sits on the new wheels.

  • Author

Thanks mate! :) quite satisfied with the look now, but think the new wheels will be just crazy! :) The are much more massive then the mercs. Just hope I can get the rears to fit! :)

Tires ordered yesterday, and tok Falken FK452s. I wanted Toyo Proxes 4 but was not availeble any had gone to almost the dubble price in just a few days.. So hope the Falkens do the job, and stretch enough.

215/35-19 on 9"

And

225/35-19 on 10"

I am going to a big car show in sweden Next weekend, so must have the wheels and car ready to that. So i Think the wheels will Get a fast paintjob before that, and be painted after the show. :)

falkens are decent for stretching,i use the 451's

the toyo sidewalls are really flimsy according to a guy i spoke to at the weekend,so will get on the rim easy but can come off and doesnt like hard cornering.

Would plump for the 452's over the Proxes 4 for sure.

Those Toyos aren't in the same family as the T1-x series and I wasn't that impressed with them when I ran a set on one of the Fabias.

good to hear guys, hope they do the job! :) will have them on next week! :devil:

Now I have tested the wheels! Picturetime!

The rims are BMW style 132 from BMW X5, and are 9x19 ET48 in front and 10x19 ET45 on the rear.

The rear wheel without spacer;

this was to tight on the innside, so put on a 3mm spacer;

Still tight;

Will roll the rear light tomorrow, and do some fine adjustments, think this is doable with some tweeks :D

looking good,cant wait to see this rolling.

are you going to need much stretch?

  • Author

Cant wait myself! Get the tyres next week and will get them on as fast as posible. It will be good stretch, 225/35 on 10", and will need it all! :D Going to go by all the trick in the book to get this work, as rolling light, spot on camber/offset, custom/spot on bumpstops +++

awesome!!

those tyres will be clinging on for life,are they 19"?

do you use a normal arch roller for a bit of flaring?

i have some 9.5j to fit on the rear soon so i will be keeping an eye on this for fitting tips :)

  • Author

Yes they are 19" :) 18" had been easier because the rim would have been longer away from the arches, witch means more clearance. Rolled the arches light yesterday, but cant do them much because of the edge against the rear bumber. It gets very fast ugly there if you do to much.. But got the profile more straight atleast :)

9,5j is no problem. I have had that for a long long time, without any big issues and quite low ride hight :)

What's the offset on your 9.5 Mercedes? Did you run 215s or 225s on them?

  • Author

They have ET48 :) needs to adjust camber to fit them :)

Royal ******* Fitment! Tucking 10s :D

This is getting more and more extreme by the second

Just as well you don't do track days :happy:

  • Author

This is just a cruiser, for the trackdays I will have the Corolla next year :)

Todays adjustment was put on max camber both sides on rear and space it out. Now on the pic over here it has 8mm spacer, and it seems to be the spot. Any more down and it hits the damper on the inside.

The problem is that the left wheel are a bit more out then the right. Adjusted camber on a friends 2012 golf on air yesterday and it was the same there. Looks like it just is that way, so there is a bit more adjustments and work to get it to tuck on the left side. But are nearly there! :)

Because of the extra camber I now have 8mm spacers on the mercs to get clear the inside :)
