Plastidipped grille

Painted calipers in hammerite smooth green and painted rear caliper dust shield in black.... Hard to see from pics

Like the grill bud, want to do mine too. Got the plasti dip but stripped the screws on one side so can't get it off now :(

That looks awesome. How hard-wearing is it? I've had my Fab grill painted once, but the primer wrinkled up under the paint somehow so although it's a good colour the finish is ****** and it's starting to stone-chip a little bit already. Wonder if it'd be worth doing it in this plastic dip stuff?

Honestly the plastidip is simple 3/4 coats and its done, takes ten mins to dry completely inbetween coats! Even if you spray poop it drys even!

Its far tougher to stone chips than paint! I did my gf's golf gt badges 7k miles and its perfect!! 10x easier than paint! Id recommend wearing a mask when spraying as the plastidip is nasty nasty stuff

I like the work and the finish, but I'm not a fan of the black grills.

But like I said, very good finish!

I was unsure too but its growing on me!

Plus side its completely reversible unlike paint!!

No prep work required so if i want chrome i just peel the black off

From a mk4 gti

Bit different to fit on the octy, had to cut off toe hook... Mount different to crash bar...

But its about the easiest car ive had to put an fmic into.... Lots of room so your twin pass should fit no problem

me not got no twin pass.. good to hear theres lots of room tho.
