Barstewards!

Featured Replies

Some **** hit my Yeti while parked. Damage looks bad - very deep but not sure how to upload pics. doesn't look as tho the panel can be replaced as it seems to be part of the 'mould'. Rear driver's side - just above the wheel arch plus deep scuffs to alloy. In N.I speak - I could kill dead things absolutely furious.

Pretty sure that panel can be replaced its just cut out and a new one tacked in place the one you have to worry about are your pillars as if they get dented enough its a write off

Yep mate that is a real barsteward!! it really p***es me off about how friggin couldn't care less some people are. I hate leaving my pride and joy parked and am always relieved when no damage has been done when I return to her (so far!!!!).Hope you can get it sorted without costing you tooo much :S

Yes it can be replaced, All the panels are separate including the rear 1/4 panels and roof. The old panel will be cut out along the existing weld and a new one inserted in its place. You may not be able to see the weld now, but there is one there even now.

Amazingly I went to see a client tonight who had is Q7 damaged outside his house. The culprit went round all the houses to find out whose it was to give them their insurance details.....most unusual.

When I park on the street my front and rear cameras are normally rolling, but not when I'm parked on my drive.

Bodywork guy says he can do it for £250 plus vat. This includes beating it out & a respray of rear panel & driver's door. He mentioned something about the warranty in conjunction with a new panel. Any advice greatly received.
