All of a sudden i'm considering a VRS

Agreed, seats are a personal thing, but Ford actually fitted the seats incorrectly in the factory resulting is a bushing wearing out under the seat, when I put my heat back agains the headrest a third of my head was not even against it on the left hand side as I was so far tilted over.

This is a common problem on the 07 onwards mondeo and should be fixed FOC by any ford garage, with a little persuasion of course!

I am a stocky bloke, the seats are comfortable on the ford but I always felt off to one side so to speak, when I sat in other fords, the mondeos, CMAX and SMAX it was the same.

As for the Skoda Octavia, I find it a very comfortable mile muncher or about town car.

07 VRS is the TFSI which means you should use super unleaded in it. So a little more money to think about each fill up.

...or you can use standard unleaded and get fewer miles per gallon.

My VRS is cheaper to run on super unleaded (brim to brim calculated cost per mile) - i.e. I pay more for the fuel but this is more than offset by the better economy.
