my roomster 2007 3 1.9 is starting to not drop the revs imediately when i take the foot off the pedal any ideas what needs doing as they dont have a throttle cable to oil any more

If it was mine I would take off the top left air hose (the one from the throttle body to the air cooler) and have a look if my throttle body was all black with oil gunge. If so I would clean it with some throttle body cleaner.

Edit: Reading the web it is better to remove the throttle body and clean off the car as opposed to blowing the gunk through the engine.
