Hi all, I just stumbled across this forum, ive run a 4x4 octavia for a few years now, its been remapped and im a gas converter by trade so its running LPG. And its a lovely motor, very cheap to run and i was wondering why they weren't all gas converted to be wholly honest.

I have one in this week for a gas conversion, so i thought i would take a few pics along the way and post them up here incase anyone was interested in having a go.

The main thing is, if you are considering it is choosing a system with a lot of headroom. But i will run through all that as i go. So has anyone had any bad experiences ? because i certainly haven't from the +40k. Other than coil packs, but they certainly aren't expensive. And a cambelt. And some oil and a few filters. Oh and tyres ! a few tyres !

It wasnt supposed to be an advert, i was more thinking from a diy point of view. I do a lot to promote DIY. Ive seen some far tidier jobs come from people that DIY than so called pro installers if im honest. Which is a shame really.

But im a firm believer in people needing some examples to work to.
