How easy do the octys headlights and indicators come out???

Yes even you..............

The indiator comes out first as it slots into the headlight. Undo a screw on top of the indicator that slots into headlight. Then just pull outwards. Mind fingers as it is a little tight.

Be careful to slot the lugs into headlight when refitting and locate the rear indicator lug into the wing hole.

The headlight has 4 torx screws to remove. 2 at the inner side. 1 on top and 1 when indicator is fitted. Unplug the rear wiring first. Will need a flat screwdriver to open out the connector lug to allow removal of plug.

That is it

I did mine today when i replaced drivers front wing, after some numpty hit it. Luckily it was bolt on and i got a exact colour match one.

Robs Guide looks good just as i wrote those instuctions out......

Sounds like i could be ok with this lol i got my eibach rarb on and my car is still intact haha

Taking the bumper off would make it easier to get the light out, but it's not necessary

So they still come out ok with the bumper on?

Yes no problems.

No , dont need to take bumper off . Theres 2screws on the side 2 on top i think . Pull the indicator out and theres one bolt left behind when the indicator comes out . Takes no more then 5 minutes to do .

Oooo could be quite good fun taking it apart lol

Tbh i did enjoy taking the whiteline rarb off and fitting the eibach not much i know but my 1st thing ive done on my own, other than stereo or rims

Oooo i did fit and move my diverter valve lol

And also my bonnet lifters haha oooooo go steady aye

If you can remove the RARB then you will have no problems with lights.

Just to dare take out lights n indicators when feeling brave

rite.... chuffed cos got lights out easy

but................................

i fooked my tints :'(

i need to get more which couldve done without being ive lost my job

if anyone has any tips for putting this LAMIN-X tint on it would be great, i was even wondering if i took to a sign writer would do it :S

this will be my final attempt i think :( gutted as i love the look of it

I got air bubble somehow appeared in the indicators :(

I could swore they were smooth, i was "that" gutted mate , my awesome dear wife has ordered me some more. Im sure i couldve bloody cried. I sooooooo cant afford to be spending on the car at the mo let alone waste £30 a time

Can you not pop the bubble and work the air out of it? And sorry to hear about the job and hope you find something soon

I have put a tiny slit and tried, im wondering if its dust or fluff :(

Ive also noticed that the headlight i tried it on has some damage like if it had laquer the film could pulled off

They are there bud, when u got them infront of you theres some hard bubble bits... Hard to get by iphone cam

I got the headlight marks tho

I'll see if can get indicator marks , hoping they will dry and set neater

Thought I could feel something watching me! Then I noticed the monkey hiding behind the curtain in the 4th pic. Spooky! lol.

Yeah it is hard to see on the pics, although I can see the marks on the headlight you were talking about.

Yeah lol that monkey was when i was a wee lad lol

He lives in the spare room, unless my lil girl frees him hehe

Those marks came from peeling off the fudged bit, in hoping the new layer will cover ok :(

I really want it to work, especially now it damaged it, luckily its at the bottom, but im bugged so easy
