Ive noticed my wifes car an 07 Fabia Vrs se 26500k has developed what appears to be a sticking throttle pedal. It doesnt do it all the time but some times the revs stay between 1000-1100 but then if you put your foot behind the pedal you can get the revs to drop. anyone else suffered this or Know of a fix.

suffering this too on mine. Going to remove the pedal this weekend see if I can reset the position. Guessing it just needs resetting and cleaning

will need a new pedal comen problem on late mk1 fabias

There was a post a few months ago where someone opened up the pedal and tweaked something very slightly and it cured it!

Didn't need replacing. Just readjusted its 0 position and the car idles as it should . Just a matter of loosing a few screws.
