many thanks :)

For a 40 to 50mm drop I think the only option will be coil overs the dampers would need changing too and it'll be really expensive for tho whole kit. Weitecs are quite comfortable according to owners who have fitted them.

hmm yes i agree raf i have just noticed i have a leaky shock and a strut starting to mist ive been looking at coilovers and i have found a set of JOM coilovers and checked they fit the estate and theyre only £170 being a coil over virgin im unsure how to go about it ... has anyone heard of JOM ?

Never heard of them. Another thing people always seem to forget to add to the budget when lowering a car is 4 wheel laser alignment. Because after so many miles the tyre looks like there is plenty of tread but the inside tread/wall will go bold and can cause a major blow out

£170 sounds suspiciously cheap... and if they're anything like their strut braces (see other thread) I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole!

JOM !!!

Please mate have a good think :(

They are not in my good books

yes ive budgeted for allignment too as i have changed both wishbones + track rod ends today so it was coilies and tracking ... and llyod what was the issue with jom ? cheers

I find them abit bouncy altho its the first set of coillies ive ever had, usually go for springs or spring and shock combos,

Big fan of eibach springs but they don't do them for vrs

Read the Jom strut bar thread lol. Bad fitting etc.
