ISO connector

Just a quick one. I just ordered a new headunit to replace the original. Do I need an ISO adapter or not? I can't see one listed and I don't have my stereo pins at home.

Any help appreciated,

My Alpine plugged straight in to oem wire from stereo

You might need to switch the perm and ignition +12v feeds and check that +12v feed for the electric aerial isn't sent to the wrong place, as iirc is can cause havoc with vagcom.

That said my Pioneer HU went straight in...

Thanks. I'll give it a go when it arrives. I've been meaning to take the set out since I bought it but never got round to it.

I am looking to buy my first Karoq but need to be sure it is not a hybrid. I saw a 2023 Karoq which looked of interest but the specification said it had "regeneration facility". I thought that was only done on mild hybrids which I don''t want.. Can someone tell me if any Karoqs are mild hybrids? What Car mag says Skodas don't make hybrids

Recently had our 2024 Karoq in for its 2nd service, no faults to complain about, just the service visit I bought with the car – they did of course push the brake fluid change and AirCon service, but as the car has only done 7k, stops and cools as I'd expect, I declined. Now I can't be the only owner on here that gets easily wound up by the pedantic front of house service staff following a script – everything from pushing extras (see above), wanting the car all day for a simple expensive oil chan

Hi guys, I'm loosing my mind. 7 mechanics and no fix. 2022 2.0tsi Kodiaq (DNNA engine code) 40k miles Despite being under warranty, I'm already out of pocket £1550 because "there is nothing wrong with the car". Little update since i posted about my Superb 280 going stage 2 back in may. I have questioned the high torque figure ( 618nm) with the tuner and was assured that it's a safe map, ok i left it at that. Three days after remap, car starts burning oil without even being pushed hard. So i switched to thicker 5w40 Castrol Edge ( issue rectified) Week later i pinned it from traffic lights and car cut power after 5000rpm. Gear changes felt really rough and jerky. Questioned it with the tuner, got nowher

I’m having a issue on start-up from cold there is a noticeable lumpy idling. This hasn’t caused any massifier codes when scanning via VCDS. Last year as part of the service the sparkplugs were changes but the rough idol is getting more noticeable. My Audi had the same issue that eventually resulted in constant misfire. That was diagnosed as having a carbon build-up. I don’t want to have the same issue occurring with the Fabia. As the CTHE is direct injection and has done 41k miles I’m guessin
