Hi, recently picked up an '04 Fabia 1.4TDI, and generally all is good. However it has a strange engine noise i can't identify. Its a quiet whine noise that tracks the speed of the engine when its under load. The best description I can give is it sounds like a milk float - that kind of electric vehicle noise. My main concern is that its the Turbo signalling it may be on the way out. However it doesn't sound right for that. Therefore open to suggestions as to what it may be? Cheers.
