  • Can i just point out..... If it wasnt for ecomentilists complaining about emmisions we wouldnt have a problem as there would be no cats and the stock exhausts would suffice until ur pushing massssssii

  • Oh God yeah. Just that I didn't realise the full system coupled with GGR CAIS was very boomy at motorway speeds. Please don't be put off by my comments, just like guys to be aware that if at all po

  • I'm from loughton so if anyone is localish i wouldnt mind showing people what its like.

looks too similar to the original but i guess its not the looks but power gain/sound thats important

im sure pitbull has this on his furbie. xracking bit of kit

Wonder how much back box would be?

Assuming it's a no-no from Skoda warranty point of view?

looks awesome. wonder how much it would be to?

Really dont see why anyone would want to pay 1100 for a name when you can get a custom made one, designed exactly how you want for under half that and a few places even do a life time garantee with it aswell

As much as I like Miltek I agree, I've had quite a few custom exhausts and all have been spot on

Very true. Non-Gen parts = No Warrenty

If they gave me a good deal for development or they were heavily discount i would take one but i would never pay full price for one just dont think there really worth and extra 400-600quid.

Although the jetex cat back is quite resonably priced

Yes but have a look at the gained perfomance figures before and after, and also the temp of the sport cat and its effectiveness at reducing emissions at the same rate the OE Skoda one does.. thats where the price comes in.. stainless steel won't rust so that's why you still get the same gurantee. but the peformance is what the difference is

Will be interesting to see the extra performance it gives as nothing is stated yet on the page

Lol theres not alot in it realy miltek usualy boast 10 - 15bhp gaines from there systems although the expense is mostly due to the high flow sports cat they use. for a cat back system (not including a sports cat) you will probly find a considrable difference in price. Sport cat's aint cheap but you get what you pay for a suppose

My Cuzin had a powerflow custom exhaust fitted to his VXR and the print out shown no increase in BHP but then had one from Miltek with the sports cat and did manage to get another 17bhp from it, which is alot of money for a small increase but if he wanted to tune it further the engine needs to breath better and it's good to know that the cat ins't going to burn out after a couple of years

bought a set of Eibach springs from Skoda got a problem with them not even a year later they werent interested as they were apparently never skoda approved lol.

Skoda's customer services are awful.

I got a full custom system with a sports cat for less than £600 and that had a life time guarantee on it. Really think Miltek is massively overpriced for what it is. They seem to think they can charge what they like because of their name.

Indeed it is my baby :) i did do a review on it when i had it fitted. I've tried a video but can't get a true sound. If anyone's got any ideas on ways to capture the sound would be appreciated.

As for performance the car is defo quicker from 4k up wards as standard and will let you know results when mapped reasonably soon. Just got something else to be fitted first. Hehehe

Does a sports cat neef a stage 2 remap to stop it setting of the eml?

I take it skoda's argument was they were never fitted or orderd from skoda? because if u had bought them from skoda as an accessory they have no reason not to replace them if they are faulty, its like buying a set of roof bars from your local skoda dealer having them fitted then they break or come off, and skoda turning round and saying sorry we don't approve them roof bar's.. lol wot ye mean!! u fekin sold um me!!

Some of the systems stated a stage 2

Plus as a skoda rep i can guarantee that all skoda part's and accessories come with a 12month fitted parts warrenty

Guessing that's an average figure over all their system and not the exact figure for this car isn't it? If it is that's not a bad gain for the TSi

As yet I've not had any lights come up on the dash but it does need a map as over time the over fueling will damage the sports cat.

You could get cat-back exhaust for £400 - £500 surely?

Was £300 fitted for my Milltek on my Ibiza FR but this was 4 years ago...

Do you get free ear muffs for the motorway ?
