Still on the fence about selling, fed up of time wasters though.

It does look amazing.

Depends what your getting next though and if it cuts the mustard to replace it. I'm only selling because i dont need a diesel otherwise i cant think of another car that gives everything the fabia does for its price.

If you're going by the display, it's not that accurate

It's probably closer to 60mpg in reality, mine's about 9-10mpg off

Thought as such.. Took abit over 10 litres to brim it afterwards so I guess that works out around mid 60's still not bad going..

Hi Pastyboy, Gr666 question peeps?

How'd you get the rear and front badges of without killing the paint work??

Removed the word fabia from the rear deck but it peeled paint off in a few places????

Are you sure it's paint it's peeled off and that it's just not glue left behind from the badges.

Did you heat them up before removing?

Sadly it's paint :(

I've touched it back in but will move the Vrs badge up a little higher now to help cover it.

Ouch! Never heard of that happening before. Has it gone back to bare metal?

As for removing the front and rear badges - heat them up with some hot water or a hair dryer then slide a credit card underneath and they will come off with a bit of force :)

There are 2 locating pins beneath so you cannot remove them completely.

Cheers Dan

Nah not bare metal just the lacquerer and top coat ever so slightly

I know it's there but others can't see it unless they look.

My Vrs up at Hartside ( the North East's Nurburg Ring ) playing with bikes. There was 3 Fabia's lovely one on twists off here. Should have a North East meet up here one night.

North East?

Thought Hartside was in Cumbria (North West)
