Nice work. If that leds are always on, they are not over heating or anything like this, right? I cannot tell from the picture, but did you place a transparent lid for protection?

They are only on when the car's lights are on. They won't overheat as I fitted the correct resistor. I haven't fitted a cover over the LEDs but I might if I can find something.

Yes indeed they are from a Touareg, I seem to have a bit of a problem when it comes to wheels from 4x4 soft roaders!

@TMB: you could use SMD leds to save a bit horizontal space from your glovebox light, so a transparent plexiglas cover would fit nice in there. If the LEDS are too bright, you could use smoked plexiglas so it will dim them.

Cheers dude just given it a clay bar back and a collinite coat today :-) next month I'm gunna try and get hold of a polishing machine cut back and paint correct it as I'm seeig swirls now :-( if I CBA ill sent it to a detailer :-)
