Cheers dan i power hose then use a safe degreaser which is safe to use on plastics power wash that off then tardis any stubborn spots then polish the metal parts with any old polish i have then finally treat the plastics with maguires tyre gel i find this good for under the arch cleaning.....simples

Nice, am guessing you took the wheels off to get that scrubbed up? (edit: words of a true idiot as I realise just now that this pic was taken with the wheels off lol)

 

Thanks for the tips on cleaning products as well further down the post, has inspired me to do the same next the time I am due a new set of pads which is not to far down the line.
