Is there much difference between sump positions on the PD100 and the PD130? I thought they used the same block but had bigger turbo and injectors. I haven't scraped the bottom yet though, but then I've been ultra careful so far. I have also found that the front wheels rub slightly on full lock, combined with some good cornering speed, so will have to be careful of that. :o

If the TDI 100 is a Pumpe Duse engine then you're absolutely right Jason. I thought the TD 100 had 'normal' direct injection i.e. without the much deeper head needed for the integral injectors. Attack those sleeping policemen with gusto then...

Its very low Jason, how does it handle speed bumps and those speed cushion things you have in Devon.

tempted very very very very tempted :D

Well, I had my first "engine tray" scrape this morning, and at quite low speed... Gonna have to attack the speed bumps I normally "straddle" with one wheel on the lumpy bit. :D And just generally slow right down for other bumps too.... Small price to pay.

 from me Jason.

One thing. watch that sump

And yes the sump is different between a PD100 and PD130. Thats why a lower strut brace catches on the sump of a PD130 and not PD100 :thumbdwn:

How did you go about getting the from dampers out the hubs? Was it a hammer job. :D

Best not give me a ride Jase as it will drag on the farm.
