Comfy ....

Featured Replies

Well i got fed up of my octy interior the problems were drivers seat bolster ripped and the base was knackered to and the rest were just tired and filthy so i did some ebaying and found a mk4 golf recarro style front drivers and passenger and rear seats with centre armrest all doorcards and a set of vw branded mudlaps they were taken out of a 52 plate that had covererd 40.000 miles no marks or stains and rear seat never been sat on ..:) i fitted the seats yesterday and boy what a difference theyre alot more comfy ....

however the doorcards dont fit but the seats were a bargain :) and they were only 8 miles from my front door bonus !

Perfect! I've been after an S3 Recaro or Golf Recaro interior for some time. I do like the standard seats but they don't offer quite enough side support.

i agree it all depends how much you want to spend and travel though :)

This may seem like a fairly n00b question, but for some reason i thought it was illegal or something to replace car seats?

Obviously i'm wrong, maybe theres something else about doing it that i mis interpretted? tis a while ago since i heard this....

Nope fully legal as long it's secure

Skoda octy is a mk4 golf so seats and a few other parts straight swap :) x

Unless it's a wingback chair held to the floor with No More Nails, I think you'll be alright legally...

I find the exact same problem. On anything other than flat roads i find i sink into the middle of the car.
