Guess what type of paint I used... :D

3rd pic is for sure the worse one as I refused to clean it properly and see what kind of result I would get (I.e. deep scratches using wire brush, dirt, bits of mud, sticky residue from vinyl etc)

Really like the white wheels on a black car, looks great. Hope its a trial run though as the tyres are sprayed aswell!

Lol Painting within the lines isn't my strong point, Im sure it'll clean up after a wash.

Cheap £ shop spray?

Wild stab in the dark but was it some Appliance paint by any chance?

Look's really good, you can get some tyre paint which will make your tyre's black once again.

Tipex!

Paint you use to paint your fridge/freezer/washing machine etc It's an enamel. Seen as you didn't know what it was I take it that's a no haha

Oh! yeah, I did also look into that one, more specifically radiator paints haha.

The ones I went for in the end had other more exciting colours I could try with my 'winter' set..... (like gold, red, yellow or blue)

x5 white spray cans in total costing ~£35.

Hindsight I should've used 1st coat with the brush on version then a couple of spray coats on top to smooth.

The spray version is surprisingly runny so very thin layers needed and about 4-5 coats.

I was expecting this to look a pile of dog; and then have an excuse to powdercoat it . It turned out nice though not show standards, considering the lack of preparation/effort involved I would try it again haha.

Funny you should mention that, I painted my RARB today with some calliper paint haha, As you say it's really runny stuff and needed several layer's to build it up. I think if/when I get my TT comp's I may paint the back of them in Smooth Black and then polish the front face of the,

White wheels on black ftw!! :)

At a guess I'd say ebay. There are loads of different styles on there.

I love the look!

How many coats can you get from one can? I fancy doing mine in white and I love the matt look for these!
