Just thought I'd let you guys know of the deal on at Halfords at the moment. Buy one get one free on all Cleaning Chemicals. This include Autoglym and the likes. Just got 2 Autoglym High Def Wax for the price of one, should keep me going for a couple of years.

They've also got 4L of Castrol Magnatec for £17.50 in 10W/40 (VW 505.00). Anyone use this in their car? I have used Castrol GTX 10w40 for topping up, but wonder if the Magnatec is any good from others' experiences?

As long as its in accordance with the spec listed in owners manual would be fine I used to use it in the past always found it a fantastic oil and where same cars might burn oil magnatec seemed to not do so.

Also obtained some meguires from halfords,

Glass and interior cleaner

And two detailers these are excellent as a between polish and also good for using as a polish to use when wet and drying
