Horns out!

Featured Replies

SWMBO and children have gone to Granny and Grandad in Inverness for the last week of the school holidays. I took them up on Friday and came home today. My first solo long trip in the Octy

Inverness to Stirling via Glen Coe :)

Shades on and Runrig in the CD changer.............

Without driving like a maniac or doing silly speeds the statistics are:

Distance 163 miles (no dual carriageways)

Average speed door to door 51 mph :D

Fuel consumption 37.4 mpg

Not trying hard enough :thumbdwn:

Got passed three times - two loony bikers and a Clio 182. As I aimed to arrive alive and with Nil points I let them go. I'm not into overtaking on blind bends :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn:

Ordered a Snooper tonight

Alan,

The coe roads are a delight to drive.

Very much cruising roads so I am not surprised by your fuel economy. The road into Stirling takes some bottol to take at speed, but some fab sights on the way.

Glad you enjoyed it...I want to be up there forever, as I love it.

I'm very lucky as my in-laws live in Inverness and we try to visit once a month :)

No real competition apart from a Volvo T5. Lost him on the twisties :D (copyright Scoobynet):rofl::rofl:

Best part was Lix Toll to Callander down Glen Ogle and Loch Lubnaig. Never got into 5th
