Hello

Just taken delivery of my 04 reg Black Vrs with Cruise.

The seats are a bugger to get clean, you can do it, but in all honesty I am waiting for my car seats to get genuinely dirty then I will get a valeter to steam clean them so they'll be like new :)

With regards to tyres, this is always an open debate, Goodyear Eagle F1's I would say are the best or Toyo Proxies but both are expensive...

Thanks for the reply even with these two probs I still love the Vrs. It loos great, was a good price etc.In fact I'm sure I shall drive it again tonight.

Seems much faster than 9.5 to 60

Enjoy your new Fabia vRs - my son just bought one todayalso 53 plate 15K miles for 9k and 2 of his tyres are down also, having just traded his Fabia 1.4 Elegance, yours seems a good deal

It is. You can quite easily get 8.5 secs 0-60 in a standard vRS.

Hi glad you like your new car :)

For the seats I use Scotchgard (sp?) fabric cleaner/protector, which is sold in B&Q. Just make sure when you use it you dont need to use the car until the next day, i went out in the evening and got a damp ****

I have goodyear eagle f1's and they are great (especially in the wet) but they dont really fit your requirement of being cheap!

Happy driving

I bought mine privately (on E bay!) and as soemone who has never even bought a match box on E bay it was quite a step!

Still love the car 62 MPG to work in the 45 mph crawl and over 50 mpg coming home even with a few 25 to 70 surges in 3rd. Seems much faster than my father's Gold GT Tdi 140 and Octavia 140 Elegance (yes he swapped the Golf after 10 months for the bigger boot and leather heated seats!). Must be the weight advantage but the engine seems more flexible than the Gt TDi 140

I'm getting my Red Fabia vRS tomorrow after work. I payed
