Neighbour of an owner!

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I don't own a Skoda, (we did look at a Faiba vRS for the mrs once but it was too small for baby related stuff(sadly)). Anyway, my next door neighbour does have one and I have to say, it is a brilliant piece of kit. We have been working through a couple of issues with it but we need advice on an EGR fault now. Hopefully, I will get my answers on the forum.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

By the sounds of things you need to find someone local with VCDS diagnostic software, plug in and get a scan. this should give some details of the fault.

Hello and Welcome to Briskoda. J5 has said the next steps for you here - It really does need to be scanned to get the error.

On a side note, I don't suppose the Mercedes CLK you own happens to be a 63 AMG does it?

I have a scanner and we have error codes etc. I'll put the detail in a more relevant section soon.

63 AMG = FAIL! No, it is my work hack so its a diesel. I do love it though. In the past, I have had a string of performace cars, BMW M3, Sapphire Cosworth, MK2 RS2000 and only recently sold my 2009 Focus RS. I'll be on the look out for my next toy once our wedding is out of the way and my garage is built.

Great forum guys.

Hi and welcome aboard.
