On a blt engine it's more hassle than it's worth

ive got a blt engine and i was thinking of doing this to mine. whys it more hassle than its worth? just a pain to do?

BUMP, is this worth doing as im thinking about cleaning my intake manifold/egr and doing a delete.

I said it was hassle because of the eml light now that it's an mot fail, Shark now have a map that will keep the eml off. I've run an Allard egr delete for 2 years and I find the car revs better without egr, your not pumping hot exhaust gas back into the inlet which is a good thing.
