Octy brakes

Featured Replies

As some of u no my first track session was ruined but my cheap brakes ????

But some peeps gave me some names of good brakes (DELEC) ? so what are good discs and pads to get so I can rip my drilled and grooved crap off

Thanxs for any reply

I'm doing this cause I cooked my brakes and when I used them they made the steering wheel vibrate real bad ????

I saw the video, i also did a trackday on saturday and found my bosch brakes were not to be too bad really altho i have drilled wheel arch liners and front bumper grills removed,

I got my bosch brakes very hot but they haven't warped to say the amount of abuse i gave them, I did 100 quids worth of super unleaded so you can guess how much stick it got

Hey mate. Sorry to hear the brakes cooked! I was hoping to come down to Combe with Simon (Beryl the yellow VRS) but his discs are still warped from a trip to the Ring in 2010 so its not trackable til he replaces them LOL

Brembo Hi-Carbon OEM spec discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads should be fine for spirited road use. You can spend £££s on track discs but how often do you do trackdays?

Other thing to remember is not to ride the brake pedal or put the handbrake on soon as you come off track
