does any one no the part number for the drivers side rear passenger door latch/actuator and where i may be able to get hold of one of these as the garage has quoted me 184 pound for the part and fitting i nearly died lol as it has failed the M>O>T on this and i need one asap but dont ant to pay the earth for one all help is much appreciated

Unless you can find one in a scrapyard or someone breaking one on here I think your only option would be a dealer or TPS for a part like that in which case it will be just as expensive (possibly more) than the garage getting it.

I've looked on Eurocarparts and they don't do them. You could try GSF though? The only place you can really make a saving is if you fit it yourself.

Thought golf mk 4 parts are the same?

Yep should be the same part for a Golf/Leon/Audi which makes it easier to find in a scrapyard or on ebay.
