I'm buying tyres at the moment for my 17" Octy Spiders. I want to make double sure I get the right ones before spending almost £400. I've decided I want 215 width instead of the slightly cheaper 205.

Are they correct?

The load rating of 87 is higher than the 83 on my current 205/45/16 Bridgstones with standard alloys

You can fit 205 and 215/40/17.

205's look better though as the wheels are only 7'' wide.

I've got 205's on mine and absolutely love the look of them.

205s on mine also, check eBay for your Tyres I had a bargain for four off there, delivered next day too.

Personally I have 215 on mine and I've found the TR1 Toyo's are good

You can also try 205/45s. Little bro is running those on his Ibiza FR in a quest for slightly less crashing and crunching.
