Has anyone used an i-pod with the fm broadcast accessory for playing in your car.

Any troble getting a signal and if not what sort of sound can you expect.

i am considering getting an i-pod of some sort for the car but for about 60 quid i can buy a proper interface for my stereo so that it connects the thing and charges it at the same time :cool:

that sounds a better solution. Is there a specific type of interface and where can it be bought.

I was only looking at the fm option as I thought it was the only type available

depends on what stereo you got mate, i have an alpine and they make the interface. look at the website for the manufacturer to see if they also make one :)
