Need to find a few hours to break out the claybar kit I bought a couple of years back then get it all shinied up!

Tried out my new Chemical Guys Black Light polish. I recommend it!!
I'm very happy with the results. It was easy to apply and buff off. After leaving for 15 minutes I expected it to be difficult to shift, but I was pleasantly surprised.

First job was a wash and dry followed by finally breaking out the claybar kit I bought two years ago.

Then the polish.

First coat applied. It's a purply colour and smells like marzipan!

It takes 15 minutes to bond with the paint before buffing.
I took this time to apply some wheel sealant (also Chemical Guys)

First coat buffed!

After half an hour you can apply a second coat. It wasn't quite dark so I went for it!

Surely they could have written that on paper for you. I understand the reason for wanting to know when it was done / at what mileage... but they didn't need to do that.

 

Hopefully that's a tyre marking pen - should be able to get that out relatively easily with some engine cleaner.

First time I've ever seen that done! I'd be ringing them up to ask.....

 

Not as if it's not obvious you look after your car, and that the engine bay is quite customised!

It is a bit unusual. I'd be miffed if they did that on the Mazda's standard bay never mind mine!
Will have a go at cleaning it, I have various solvents

Iive found some on superskoda but not the type you have which i much prefer.

They're Milotec items, they came from Superskoda but they're not doing much Milotec stuff now.

 

You should still be able to get them from www.milotec.de - you can change the site to English using the flags at the top.
