Easy to remove fabia badge?

Featured Replies

How easy is it to remove the rear fabia badge from a monte carlo? Are there any problems like holes that will be left or any risks of paint coming off, etc? This will be a brand new car when its deliverd so im kinda scared but like the debadged look! I might also remove the tsi badge

use a hairdryer to GENTLY heat up the badge and use something like a credit card to carefully lift off the lettering. Them heat any of the residue and remove. Wash it down n clean it up ;)

Personally i boil a kettle and pour that over it and it peels off quite eaisly :)

After heating up the badge you can also use a fishing line and slide it behind the badge to remove it easier.

Then need to wash off the adhesive left behind. It is very easy to do and you won't damage the paint - don't be scared do it :)

There are 2 mounting holes to locate the rear badge

There are 2 mouning holes to locate the rear badge

There are on the Skoda emblem, but not on the Fabia badge

I might take mine off as I'm fed up of having bits of my wash mitt stuck in the badges. Dental floss works well

This is annoying when you polish aswell always end up bit clogged up around the badge, lols!

I was thinking about asking the dealer to do it when it gets deliverd to them but they will probably say no or charge more money than its worth!

Yes - the holes really help with the alignment.

Don't know about the front but there are two holes in the rear to locate the badge
