You need something called an MDI port. It's standard in some cars (Ie. The fabia Monte Carlo or the Octavia 'plus' thing), and it's an option in others. Its a connection usually in or underneath the glovebox I believe that links with the standard stereo, and this lead will give you full control over your Ipod from the stereo controls (I believe)

Do a bit of a search on here for MDI perhaps or post in the relevant forum for your car if you need clarification
