Fabia Rs Tuning Already Out

Featured Replies

They are mad! But then you probably know that being in the same sort of area as them. IIRC they have blown a few engines apart in the past (well, what do you expect when trying to get more than 600 BHP from an Octavia) Sound like my kind of people! :D

The most amusing thing about Dahlb

Time to pay them a visit with your Octavia then? :D

Cheers,

FD

I've already talked to them about the 450 :D

I've also spoken to someone over there with a silver subaru (Jerry) who has confirmed that they are quite, quite mad :D

When a swedish TV-chanel (Kanal5) did a film about his mad Golf RSI, they asked him what the Ingolstadt people thought of him and his "tuning" company, he simply answered:

-They said that I don't know where the limit is and that I don't know anything better then making mad tuning.

Well, I agree.

I can't really tell if he likes the Skoda or not, but he can tune all VAG/Audi/Skoda/Seat cars that's for sure.

Maybe he wants someone to take a big step and choose the mad 550bhp upgrade :D

550? Hmmmm, how long does it take to drive to Sweden? :D

Wonder how long they'd need it for.....

Well where do you live Jon?

Let's assume you live in central europe (netherlands for example), it's around 10.000-13.000km.

You'd have to have changed your tyres at least once during the journey back

Well, you figure it out by looking at what they want to change to your car...

New E-proms in ECU, optimization of flow to intercooler, new turbo, custom built exhaust manifold, intake manifold, wastegate, intercooler, injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, camshafts, crankshaft with increased stroke (2.0 L), piston rods, pistons, oil cooler, clutch, flywheel, air filter, modification of air filter housing and charge air hoses and pipes, extra engine mounts, modification of crank case breather, porting of cylinder head, 2 x race cats, stainless steel exhaust (turbo-back).

Note The software maintains full functionality in terms of diagnostics, engine protection and fault code memory.

Sounds like your Octavia bodyshell is the only original thing to return from Sweden :D

Nikos: so no-one has ordered the 550hp conversion as yet? Which one has already been done? The 420?

On the other hand, why go to Sweden?

I now have a list of where I can get nearly all of that within 50 miles of home :D

For Alcohol- It only costs about 6 times as much as here!

I wonder how much your insurance premium will increase if you mention casually that the 'performance upgrade' adds 200% bhp to the engine :D

But how much do the blondes cost?

Depends on how much of the expensive alcohol you have to buy the blondes ;)

I thought a made this thread to be talks about tuning the Fabia RS and now it has transformed into a lounge.

This reminds me of the DV-thread a made about a week ago when suddenly it became a greek gathering.

Please note that I don't mean any harm :).

No, nothing to be taken that serious Dutch, just that somewhere in my head I thought someone asked me what's the "heaviest" tuned Octavia vRS that Dahlb

  • 2 weeks later...

I was wondering, does this still involve the original 1.8T or will it bored out to 2 litres, like in the 550 hp conversion?
