Ive just taken my front bumper off to try and get the wide mouth look on the VRS

And ive taken the number plate recess off to find i only have a tiny lower grill and the rest is plastic attached to the bumper?

Now... How do i get a full wide mouth grill and DIY'ing it to fit... or am i looking at getting a new bumper?

You have to cut the plastic out, then make your own grill, which is why it's irreversible...

Unless you have a FMIC and need it...don't do it. Looks rubbish without a cooler behind it.

as far as im aware uve got to take a dremel or something to it and cut the plastic off and then mesh it off.

im sure someone else will clarify this aswell

Get a JDM bumper and sell my your standard one :p

Hhaa... Right how do we go about securing the mesh to the bumper? Im stuck

Nails, screws, string, cement, glue, sellotape or anything similar will do the job

I used PU-Flex. Tiger seal also fine. Polyurethane adhesive, comes in tubes and applied with a skeleton gun.

ended up using some superstrong adhesive. Its stuck on but not flush so when the weather better im going in for round two
