Just thought I'd introduce myself.

I've been a forum member for some years having had one of the first Roomsters - a 1.9Tdi. A great car that we liked but unfortunately a company car meant we couldn't afford to keep it (a decision we regretted but that's another story.

We've had a Yeti for the last two and a half years.

Anyway we're just in the process of buying an 8 month old Roomster S - 1.2 DSG in red to replace my wife's M-B A Class. We were really impressed on the test drive.

John , hi and welcome , l also used to have a 1.9tdi lovely car , i now run a roomie 1.2 tsi 105bhp you will find these newer cars have come leaps and bounds for the better . have you looked at a new car ? according to the Skoda web site all roomies come with a 25% discount maybe worth a look
