Uniroyal Rainsport 2

Featured Replies

I recently got the Rainsport 2's fitted on all 4 corners and can say they are a marked difference to the cheapest non-brand tyres. Unfortunatly I have no other benchmark for them but I am pleased, although with the foot down the car can still step out of line in the damp. Not been dry enough to properly test them yet.

Tbh foot down in wet with any tyre on is going to step out, its just nature.

Ive just bought my second set for next year and i cant wait to get them back on!

Found the sidewalls far to soft and they wore pretty quickly, wet weather grip was phenomenal though!! Replaced by some Kuhmo's crap in the wet but the dry they are so much sharper on the turn in than the Uniroyals

Yes agreed they do wear far too quickly but this is reason they are so good because their soft.

One thing that made me realise just how soft was going to a clients house (home care worker) and she has a full gravel drive, go in the Pug or any other car the stones would't stick to the tyres but go in the Octy with the Rainsports on i used to have to drive for about 200 yards up the road at 2mph to get all the stones off before i could accelerate!

Just fitted the new Uniroyals to the Octy's summer tyres :)
