Just woke up the morning to find my car missing after having it for 5 years :( I was trading it in next week against a leon FR+

I can never understand how people still manage steal modern cars with all the security in place.

I had police in the house and they said the only way they could have stolen it was by duplicating my car keys (got my 2 keys still) :-/ not sure if this is true as its 7 year old now

im miles away but if i see it ill be on the 999 straight away

I'll keep my eyes peeled over here in the North East of England.... Really sorry to hear this happened tbh. Horrible little scrot's have to spoil things for other people, makes my blood boil.

You can order new keys via the dealer but whoever stole it would of had to prove the car was theres first... maybe a previous keeper?

I hope you get enough money from the insurance to cover what you were getting on your trade.

Its an awful feeling going out to find no car, had one stolen before, I didn't really talk for 2 day, gutting when its your pride and joy and biggest hobby. Hopefully you'll get a good pay out and fast. Keep your chin up buddy.

That is **** sorry for swearing but it bugs me soo much when you love cars and into them and some low life comes along and takes it, I will keep me eyes peeled it could end up anywhere.

Sorry to hear that, on a positive note it is very good that you still have your 2 keys. This will show the Insurance that is not some kind of scam. A friend car was stolen 6 months ago and the first request from the insurance was, we need to see the keys.

Yep - something I keep harping on at missus, whn she leaves keys on her seat. Women- never seem to realise that if car missing, all keys need to be acounted for. And then ,she's also got house keys on her ring. :wall:
