Found some sunshades going very cheap from the fabia when it first changed to the newer shape in 2006ish I think it was, will this be the same fit as the windows on my 2012 monte carlo and dad 2011 elegance windows?

Yes, all Mk2 windows are the same

Because I'm slighlty confused just to make sure Fabia MKI windows ARE NOT the same with Fabia MKII windows.

As irfant said all Fabia MKII windows regardless of production year are indeed the same.

Mk 1's are different at least with the rear tailgate screen as the brakelight has a cutout for this on the newer Fabia's sunshade. This leads me to think ALL windows will differ from MK1 to MK2. ALL MK 2's will be the same from inception to now.
