I have been desperate to return the Fab se back to its original state, the previous owner put these on

Im embarrassed to go out in the day or night, so I bought a set of DEPO's of ebay and have joyfully gone to fit them

THEY DONT FIT !!!! im still chaved up, the bulb holders are different to the receptors in the depo's

the bulb holders are on a lead which goes into the main plug in the rear quarter, I wondered whether this aftermarket crap may have had replacement bulb holders?

and if the originals can be bought anywhere (dealer) or am i on the look out for an se in scrap yards (i hope not)

I'd try the scrappy first, you can get a bargin sometimes. Take one of the depo's so you know it will fit.

    dont have to look for an se in the scrappy just any fabia 05 or 55 onwards with the updated lights on. shouldn't be to hard to find a set , there's at least 10 breaking on ebay just give them a quick message. sooner you get them off the better haha

    PMSL at them chav lights ! Epic fail :D

    You need to get a standard bulb holder that houses all 4 bulbs together and clips in at the top and bottom of the light cluster

    In some ways those lights aren't too bad. Probably because I can't recall having seen the style on "the original" car before. Like... Lexus lights, Audi LED strips, BMW halos... If I had I might hate the cut price mimicy. At the moment, at least, I could live with them... provided they work effectively. I wonder what they'd look like split and painted in body colour though, rather than "blick".

    I'm a fan of "proper" lights in some ways. Number of times I've been surprisedby a Golf or similar slowing down or manouevring because I nearly missed his indicator. Give me old style coloured blocks that light up any day.

    PS: No I don't want to buy them though. :giggle:

    Well I like them..... but then i've always had a real soft spot for chrome number 8s!

    what for ?

    There should be a clip in panel with fittings. It looks like someone ditched theirs when switching to those awful lights.

    What was the punichment? go and look at the old liggts for 5 minutes until you plead to be let off? :D
